Neighbourhood planning was introduced through the localisms Act 2011 and came into effect in April 2012. Giving communities more power, Neighbourhood plans allow local people to get the right type of development for their community.
Ballingham, Bolstone and Hentland is a group parish with a small population spread over a large area. The parish length is 15 miles and it contains 4 distinct small communities. We are part of the Wye Valley which is an area of AONB and SSSI and was the place where tourism was born in the UK.
